josh sternberg | founder & CEO

Josh started SSC with the basic premise that companies need to communicate better to increase their bottom line. To that end, he has helped clients drive business by building up and maintaining a positive public perception.

As the team leader, Josh wears many hats; from strategist to tactician, he loves being a part of every aspect of the communications process. His experience encompasses all parts of the communications landscape, as well as practice with many different industries: B2B, Education, Technology, Online Advertising, Non-Profit, Consumer Electronics, Entertainment, Legal. He has directed and advised strategic communications campaigns for many clients over his career; ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.

Prior to entering the “field”, Josh was an Adjunct Professor at William Paterson University and Montclair State University, teaching courses on Communication Theory, Film Theory, Public Speaking and Mass Communications. He continues his educational passion by guest lecturing at NYU and William Paterson. Josh lives in Brooklyn with his wife.

keith trivitt | executive vice president

Keith joined Sternberg Strategic Communications in March 2010 after spending the previous five years working in sports communications and tech/media public relations for a variety of organizations. Keith is passionate about helping companies grow and guiding clients through the complex world of communications.

At Sternberg Strategic Communications, Keith oversees the agency’s digital and social media initiatives for clients, including developing and managing overall social media programs, digital media counsel and social media research. He also plays a significant role in business development and overall agency management.

After spending four years working in collegiate athletics communications - including working as media relations director at the NCAA Division I level while serving as assistant director of media relations and director of new media at Illinois State University - Keith’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to the corporate PR world.

Keith lives in Manhattan with his fiancee, and is an avid runner, finishing 10 marathons, including a two-time finisher of the Boston Marathon.
